Keep Moving Forward
Phase 2 of The Maker's Diet continues your journey toward optimal, total body
health. Having completed the first (and most restrictive) portion of the program,
you should already be noticing positive changes in your appearance, mood and
feeling of well-being.
Spanning days 15-28 of your 40-day health experience, Phase 2 continues your body's trend toward healthy weight loss and incorporates a greater variety of foods, while helping you establish the healthy eating habits that can last a lifetime.
Prayer Reminder - Try to begin and end each day with prayers of thanksgiving, healing and petition.
Purpose Reminder - Try to set aside time each day to reaffirm and focus on achieving each of your health goals.
Foods to Enjoy or Avoid
As you progress from the most restrictive portion (Phase 1) of The Maker's
Diet, into Phase 2, your food options expand considerably. You'll continue
to enjoy all items allowed in Phase 1, while beginning to reintroduce some
previously eliminated foods, such as increased fruits, dairy and sweet potatoes.
Chapter 12 of The Maker's Diet provides a complete list of foods to enjoy or avoid within each phase of the program. This quick reference is helpful for menu planning and grocery shopping, and will also prove valuable as you move from one phase of the diet to the next.
